RailiCA Design is a full service interior design team, specializing in new construction, full remodels and the occasional cool vintage cottage renovation. Our projects range from the uber-cool Kelly Slater Surf Ranch, Urban Flix headquarters and Peninsula Point Tennis Club to our mainstay residential projects located throughout the country.

Our team is made up of creative and organized design professionals with projects featured in top design publications including Arch Digest, House Beautiful and Dwell.

Raili Clasen

  • RailiCA design stems from former fashion executive Raili Clasen’s love for eclectic California interior design. Following a lengthy career with Quiksilver and Paul Frank, Clasen co-founded hip housewares brand, Alice Supply Co. The move into the interior design business came naturally after several of her home projects were featured in magazines, design blogs and her own homes showcased on the popular Newport Harbor Home tour.

Hayley Alder

  • Wow, we are so thrilled with this addition to the design team. Hayley is the real deal professional who not only is creative as it gets, but the organization!!! It’s all next level. Hayley also is a new puppy mama, and fits right into all the chit chat and funny story telling around here.

Kerry Vandermuelen

  • Kerry is literally “the boss of all of us.” If our design firm were a human body, Kerry is the heart. She is responsible for every detail of ordering, managing deadlines and with the high intensity of all the project we juggle at once, she is calm as a cucumber. Her South African accent charms all of our vendors, and she has such a great way of talking us into just about anything! Kerry has worked in the interior design world and actually has her certificate from IDI, so she is a huge help in our design world as well. Kerry has 2 boys, and is married to Barry, who is also a big time surfboard shaper. Fun fact-Kerry used to be a BIG DEAL model in South Africa. We’ve even seen the photos.

  • Payton comes to us with the perfect California inspired style. She fits right in with her knowledge of coastal style, her fun approach to design details and her awesome chill personality.

Brooke Randol

  • What an asset to our team. Brooke is always game for jumping in on any project we give her. Her skills are only trumped by her great attitude... Her singing voice is next level and she shares that with us on the daily. I'm hoping she sticks with interior design because I think she can make it big in Hollywood!

  • Ryan comes to us from a long career in the shoe business working for Adidas, Converse, and the last 8 years Vans. He is taking our very fast paced business model and running it like a true corporation should be run. Business development and daily operations is his forte, and we are thrilled to have him here.
